January 2005 — Financial Status

One month into 2005, and my household's finances can be simplified to look something like this:

Yes, I could tag-team Quicken and Excel and do a lot more. But this catches the important points ... for me, at least.

Because I'm always curious to look at other folks' monthly cash flow and expenses, I will offer up an abbreviated version of my January 2005 cash flow report here.

Additionally, I am about to nix my Upromise Mastercard in favor of Citibank's Dividend Platinum Select Mastercard. The rewards will be better — not lots, but enough to make a dollar-conscious guy like me take action.
