Book Junkie

I admit it: I am a book junkie.

My passion is for personal finance (obviously), but I try not to limit myself. I'll read pretty much whatever someone hands me.

In that light, I find it amazing that I had never stumbled across either of these sites:

BooksFree.com

SimplyAudioBooks.com

It's sort of like the NetFlix business model ... but with books and audiobooks. My wife and I don't watch enough movies / TV to make NetFlix anything other than a monthly waste, but renting books and/or audiobooks? That's a different story.

Some will ask, "But what about your local library?" I'll just respond that my local library's offerings are pretty ... well, timid ... when it comes to stuff I'd actually WANT to read. Plus, if I can do something from the comfort of my own home, I tend prefer that method.

Anyhow, I'll have to take a closer look at those two sites above.

Thoughts on my personal finances, goals, experiences, motivations, and accomplishments (or lack thereof).

My financial life began turning around when I took responsibility for it.
