Mortgage Escrow, Continued

For those who are keeping up with my February 15 request to handle my mortgage escrow account myself, I'll just let you know that I received a letter from the lender yesterday.

"Mr. Borrower," it said, "please allow this letter to serve as notice that we are considering your request."

Well, thanks, guys. After two weeks, I was beginning to wonder.

Your post made me go check my request to do the same. I sure hope you hear something soon, because I was really jazzed to find that my mortgage company reviewed my request and mailed me a check! Thanks for posting about that a couple of weeks ago - now my escrow money can earn some interest!

Thoughts on my personal finances, goals, experiences, motivations, and accomplishments (or lack thereof).

My financial life began turning around when I took responsibility for it.
