That's gonna leave a mark:

My latest Money magazine reports that our pals running the Aspire Visa (subprime-marketed credit card) currently hold the honor for "Biggest Bend-Over Punitive Rate" for any credit card in the known universe.

Make two late payments, and your Aspire Visa's rate orbits up to prime plus 36.25 percent. Which means that somewhere out there, at least a few people will be opening up their Aspire statements this month and seeing an APR of 41.25 percent glaring back at them.

Makes you think a 50 percent APR is right around the corner, doesn't it?
