Great idea, and i cleaned mine out right after reading this article. Its wasn't as bad as George's on that famous Sienfeld episode, but it did contain a few admission ticket stubs and gas receipts that served no purpose except make it's fit that much tighter in my front pocket.
( does any body else think this is a better pocket to keep it in vs the traditional left rear pocket?) I removed the debit card and put it in with my checkbook, since the only reason I use it to deposit a once a month check i get for consulting work, and i figure this way, if I lose the checkbook, they might as well get my ATM card too so they can get their picture taken when they try to use it. I also removed the medical insurance card, again the only time i use that is the every other year physical at the docs office and they don't ask to see the card anyway. Also removed 3 business cards for companies that don't even exist anymore, but as you pointed out, why give the stranger any more info about me ? I'm even thinking about removing the drivers license, since the only time I use that is when i buy beer at the supermarket. And I never drive above the speed limit anymore, because i want to never ever again have to speak to a cop through my drivers side window.

But then again, there is this video on the news today about the AZ woman who lost her wallet in a couch in Seattle 5 years ago and got it returned, with the drivers license and the $650 cash from her just cashed paycheck, by two teen-aged boys who found it in the couch their mom bought off of Craigs list in March...
